Haridwar is district of Uttarakhand state in India. Haridwar is place where the river Ganges enters in plain areas north India after flowing 250 kms from its origin Gaumukh.Propitiously located at the point where the Ganges emerges from the Himalay. It is  the Uttarakhand’s holiest Hindu city, and pilgrims arrive here in droves to bathe in the fast-flowing Ganges.


Rishikesh is a small town in the northern state of Uttarakhand in India. The town is a famous tourist spot and also a major pilgrimage spot for the Hindus.


Tarkeshwar Mahadev is a village 36 km from Lansdowne and at a height of 1,800 m. The place is known for its temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Surrounded by Thick Forests of Devdar and Pine, it is an ideal Pace for those who Seek for Beauty in Nature.


Badrinath is an ancient holy town in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The most important of the four sites that constitute India’s Char Dham pilgrimage, Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located in Bardrinath.


Kedarnath is located at an altitude of 3,584 m above sea level, near the head of river Mandakini. It is also Known as Chota Char Dham pilgrimage that also includes Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri.


Yamunotri Temple is situated in the western region of Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3,291 metres in uttarakhand. It is one of the four sacred shrines of Chardham Yatra devoted to the Goddess Yamuna and has a black marble idol of the goddess.


Gangotri Glacier is located in Uttarkashi District, which is famous for the revered Gangotri temple which is one of the four pilgrimages in the Chota Char Dham circuit of Garhwal Himalayas.


The word Gomukh literally means Face of a Cow because earlier the snout exactly looked like face of a cow. Gomukh is the physical source of the river Ganga in Uttarakhand.


Neelkantha is also known as the Garhwal Queen, is named after Lord Shiva. The temple is situated at a height of 1330 meters and is located about 32 km from Rishikesh in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand.


Saptarishi Kund is another attraction of the city where people come to pray in the temple. A popular natural lake atop 4421 metres, it is considered to be where Yamuna originates. The “Saptarishi Kund” which a glacial lake situated about 1000 m above the Yamunotri temple.
